Spelling word lists – year 5

This teaching resource comprises a set of 24 English spelling lists for year 5. Each spelling list features 10 spellings based on a particular prefix, suffix, letter string or spelling rule featured in the statutory and non-statutory spelling guidance in the National Curriculum, or based on the year 5/6 word list as featured in English Appendix 1 from the Year 5/6 Programme of Study.

Simply photocopy, cut out and send home a list a week for children to practise for the weekly spelling test.
