A fantastic, bumper pack of activities based on 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' by J. K. Rowling. The activities include: writing newspaper reports, letter writing, word searches, potion mixing, magical creature creation, code cracking and much, much more!

Each activity can be used individually or children could complete the whole pack as early morning activities over the course of a term. Ideal as follow up work after reading the book with the class or for children who have seen the film.

Fab resources that I am excited to use with my kids. I teach in a SEND school so this theme is going to be 'magical' for everyone involved! Thanks for sharing

There are no set answers for the sorting hat activity as children will display a range of characteristics. The main characteristics for each house are: Gryffindor: brave and show leadership qualities, Hufflepuff: kind and caring, Slytherin: clever and resourceful, Ravenclaw: love of learning and curiosity. Hope that helps.
