Doubling the final consonant

This worksheet challenges children to add the endings 'ing' 'er' 'ed' and 'y' to the bank of words provided. Some final consonants will need doubling and children can use a dictionary to check their answers. It also includes follow-up activities. From A&C Black's 'Developings' series.
