This clever game gets children thinking about what Stone Age farmers would have needed for a successful settlement. First children plan their Neolithic settlements, considering where their crops and animals will go, and the advantages and risks of building near a river. They then play a battleships-style game, in which disasters threaten to wipe out their village!
Children can either play the interactive game using the Excel spreadsheet provided, or a version using paper templates. Suitable for KS2.
