Writing frame for the poem 'The Door'
Children read the poem The Door by Czech poet Miroslav Holub to inspire their own version. Children imagine they are stood in front of a magical door and have to describe what might be behind it. Their ideas are then used to write their own poem using the framework provided. A handy word bank is provided. This resource can be adapted to suit any year group in KS2.
