A super resource with a range of writing ideas based on dragons to encourage children to write their own compositions at KS1. Have a look if you dare! Includes a story opener for inspiration. Further prompts then encourage children to generate their own ideas. A follow-up activity asks children to complete a range of sentences before they play a dice rolling game to create sentences. Children can then use all their ideas to produce an extended piece of writing based on the story opener.
