Curious Chocolate – melting times investigation

A great investigation to really get children working scientifically by exploring the rates different chocolates melt at. Includes plenty of opportunities for developing questioning skills, grouping and classifying, carrying out simple tests and communicating ideas. Plus it involves chocolate. What more could you want? The PowerPoint presentation introduces the investigation. Detailed teaching notes are laid out in the Word document.
