Alliteration - writing newspaper headlines
An alliteration challenged based on nursery rhymes and fairy tales.
Children are given examples of newspaper headlines that use alliteration based on well-known children's rhymes and stories. They are then challenged to write their own alliterative newspaper headlines for rhymes and stories such as Jack and Jill, Hickory Dickory Dock and Little Red Riding Hood.
Thsi fun activity could also be used as a starter or an early morning activity.
