A simple word matching activity based on the Oxford Reading Tree book The Pancake. Children match the recipe words from the story with illustrations. If they get stuck, encourage them to think about the initial letter sound for each of the objects pictured.
This would make a great Shrove Tuesday activity for EYFS!
