As schools across the UK prepare for a shutdown, we’d like to offer our support.
To ensure you have everything you need, including PowerPoints and adaptable Word versions of thousands of resources and teaching packs, we’re offering you and your colleagues free access to all our resources until the end of April 2020.
That’s access to everything, for everyone, for free.
We know your pupils’ progress is important to you, even during these extraordinary circumstances. We’ve highlighted here a selection of relevant and engaging resources that children can work on independently, wherever they may be.
Useful resources for KS2
Our Home learning packs are ideal for your year 6 classes. Home learning for year 6 – English includes differentiated tasks for reading, writing composition and GPS. And try Home learning for year 6 – maths for differentiated tasks for number, ratio and proportion, algebra, measurement, geometry and statistics.
Whilst SATs have been cancelled for year 6, your year 5s could get ahead of the game with our SATs resources. Reading SATs practice for KS2 comprises a range of fiction and non-fiction texts and poems and 10 practice papers differentiated at three levels. Or try GPS SATs practice for KS2, which features eight practice papers and spelling assessments. Our comprehensive packs for Problem solving will also keep them engaged in their learning.
For comprehension resources, look no further than Comprehension for upper KS2 and Comprehension for lower KS2. And if you need a great maths resource for year 4, Pumpkin’s Garden Centre will keep children busy!
For year 3, Describe a setting is a superb – and meaty! – writing resource, and for maths try the differentiated question sheets in Ordering fractions – common multiple denominators.
Useful resources for EYFS and KS1
For year 2, this biography of Elizabeth I includes a comprehension, answers and several spin-off tasks. And for maths, see Counting in steps of 2,3, 5 and 10 for a varied set of games and activities.
For year 1, have a look at Comprehension tasks, a set of differentiated tasks and writing practice which might also suit some Reception children, and at our comprehensive 2 times table workbook.
Lastly, for your youngest learners, our Farm animal conversation cards will help develop children’s language skills, and for maths, see Counting in 2s, 5s and 10s with cherries.
