  • a quotation and evidence finding task based on Chapter 4
  • exploring word connotations
  • close-text analysis of the characters and Shelley's intentions in Chapter 5
  • an essay plan based on Shelley's representation of Gothic horror in Chapter 5.

The variety of worksheets and activities in this resource make it easily differentiated to suit a number of different learning needs. The activities could be used over a number of lessons.
