There are four main sentence types. They are: statements, questions, exclamations and commands.
Statements: These sentences tell you something. We use them in our everyday conversations. For example: Penguins lay eggs.
Questions: These sentences ask you something and end with a question mark. For example: Which penguin is the largest?
