The life of Queen Elizabeth I – biography and comprehension

A detailed comprehension and activity pack based on the life of Elizabeth I. Children read an extended biography of the Tudor queen and then answer questions which require retrieval, inference and personal responses to the text.

Other tasks include creating a fact file of Queen Elizabeth I using information from the text, writing a letter from the queen about an important life event, and designing a medal inspired by the medal which celebrated the defeat of the Spanish Armada.
