A fictional race meeting sheet and race card providing data for children to analyse. Choose your horses, fill out the race card and then answer the questions about the runners and riders.

This resource is suitable for Y5 and Y6.

The instructions for this resource are not exactly clear I'm afraid so our apologies for this. The idea is that children choose their own six horses and decide the finishing order themselves. They then answer the data analysis questions based on those horses they picked. This resource will be updated asap to include clearer instructions.

Looks like an interesting resource but how do we calculate the finishing positions?

I'm not sure I understand where the information about the finishing positions is to help us fill in the race card?
